What the coach will do:

• Conduct a situational/contextual analysis of the Masters thesis

• Hold meetings with the student (per email / telephone / mail) – meetings in person only take place in exceptional circumstances

• Formulate suggestions for further elaborations on the thesis

• Give advice on specific parts of the thesis work

• Assist with bibliography

• Proofreading

What the coach will NOT do: 

                                                         
                                                              

• Compose any part of the thesis on behalf of the student

• Develop any graphs or tables for the thesis

• Evaluate statistics related to the thesis

• Take an active part in completing the thesis

• Find subject specific errors in the body of the thesis

Each Masters thesis we take on for coaching will be rated according to a matrix consisting of two elements

• Level of progress (how far along is the thesis)

• Degree of difficulty (for the coach)

All possible combinations are shown in the table below. Ratings vary from 11 (the Masters thesis is in the planning or has commenced and poses a low degree of difficulty) to 33 (the Masters thesis is nearly complete with a high degree of difficulty). We will measure the fee according to the ratings shown in the matrix below.
